Launch Monitor Sim Software Compatibility Matrix

13 of the 17 launch monitors we've reviewed connect to GSPro, 9 support E6 Connect, only 3 work with The Golf Club 2019, and FSX Play remains exclusive to Foresight-family hardware (3 units). If you already know which simulator software you want to run, this table tells you which hardware actually supports it — filter by platform below, or scan the full matrix.

Closed Ecosystem — None of the Four

3 of the 17 units we've reviewed don't connect to GSPro, E6 Connect, TGC, or FSX at all — for very different reasons:

  • Garmin Approach G82 — a GPS handheld first, launch monitor second; no simulator mode of any kind.
  • Shot Scope LM1 — deliberately bare-bones: five speed/distance metrics, no simulation by design.
  • TrackMan 4 — a closed premium ecosystem; everything runs through TrackMan's own $1,100/yr software.

How to Read This Table

means we've confirmed compatibility, with the exact gating condition (subscription tier, fee, or caveat) shown on hover. means the manufacturer or our own testing explicitly confirms it is not supported. means our review doesn't state either way — a genuine data gap, not a claim that the platform is unsupported. We'd rather show an honest gap than guess.

Garmin R50 and SkyTrak ST Max's TGC compatibility, and the R50's GSPro compatibility, were confirmed directly with our team and are now reflected in both this table and their full reviews. See each full product review for complete software terms, or read our scoring methodology.
